Alternatively the more active can enjoy the outdoors for kayaking, cycling and walking, the Hebridean Way is on the doorstep. For those who want even more of a challenge Lochedge Lodge sits at the foot of the Clisham, the highest of the Harris mountains.
Many of the beautiful white sandy beaches, for which Harris is famous are just a short drive away with plenty of lovely places and cafes to stop for lunch or coffee.
From the comfort of the Lodge, sit back and relax with a glass of wine and a good book or simply soak up the ever changing views of Loch Maaruig and the surrounding Harris mountains.
